Manik and me began to take pictures near 1997. At the beginning, as our school owned a dark-room to develop b/w pictures, I took some emotional touchs of Paris' vision. But travels and projects helped us to take some other pictures.
In august 2000, free time and holidays in Alps' mountains allowed us to shoot ants, ants' nest and other thing that we can't find in Paris. We both were impressed by the life there was around the nest and by the organization of this mini-society. Tristan preferred drawing them but that's too hard for me, so I shot insects with my camera. Manik who lives in a wild area, had often the opportunitie to see ants. Because he owns a great equipment (okay, he hasn't a pro-equipment), he took a lot of pictures during the judgement days where males and young queens had a nuptial fly. His pictures were very interesting and that's why I would like to show you some of them.
